Here we go: Apple’s just announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference will take place June 8-12 in San Francisco. If you’ll recall, last year’s WWDC was where a little gadget called the iPhone 3G made its appearance, and we’d say chances are good we’ll see new hardware this year as well — especially since there’d be no bigger way for Steve Jobs to make his planned June return to the company. Also on the list of expected attendees? Snow Leopard, possibly with a revised interface. It should be a big one — you know we’ll be digging for all the info we can get in the leadup, so keep it locked.

Update: Jobs said he’d be out until the “end of June,” of course. Still, we’ve got a feeling he’d want to be involved in any iPhone hardware announcements. We’ll see!

361The Boy Genius Report claims to have details on the next iPhone straight from someone who is "pretty high up in AT&T's food chain."

According to the intel, the next iPhone is due in June (as pretty much everyone has predicted) and it will feature 7.2Mbps 3G speeds (probably) and U-Verse support. In addition, AT&T says that "Apple's 3.0 software should tell us where the iPhone platform is going." We think that cryptic message is referring to the video capabilities spotted in the new firmware.

Obviously there's nothing too crazy here, but BGR also thinks it's possible we'll see a full QWERTY-keyed iPhone model—if they were reading their source's winks and nudges correctly. [BGR]

184British website Mobile Today is claiming that the LG GD910 Watch Phone will sell on the Orange network across Europe for about £1,000, which is the rough equivalent of 00 USD.

A £1,000 pricetag would seem to make sense, since it this is a boutique item and it was announced last week that Orange would be the official carrier, but source attribution in the article is close to nonexistent, so it’s tough to say where this originated from. If this price rumor is indeed true one has to wonder if 00 is worth living out childhood retro-futuristic dreams. [Mobile Today via CrunchGear]
