The Annecy authorities and the FFVL have created an information sheet advising what you should do, should you ever come a cropper and need the emergency services. It also has a list of safety equipmet that it recommends all pilots to carry.

We start the year with some blatant commercialism: Lokkilok now offers really nice, cool, organic, T-shirts imprinted with the Lokkilok logo. All of the profits (approx. 20% of the revenue) are used to support this blog and paragliding activities; notably to help pay for participation in the upcoming World Championships!

cam used is the sanyo xacti HD1000 - The detail sharpness is really nice, but the digital Picture Stabilizer is (as in most other cameras) more or less useless…some nice shots from unusual angles anyway
